Agreement and entity
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Indian Youth Entrepreneurship Council Foundation ("IYEC", "we", "us" or "our"), CIN U85500UP2026NPL247715. By visiting the site, creating an account, submitting an application, buying a service, registering for an event, or otherwise using an IYEC service, you accept these Terms and the policies linked from them. If you act for an organisation, you confirm authority to bind it.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be legally capable of entering the relevant transaction. Users under 18 require a parent or lawful guardian's consent and supervision.
- Provide accurate, current information and keep credentials confidential. One person must not impersonate another or create deceptive accounts.
- You are responsible for activity under your account until you notify us of suspected unauthorised access.
- We may request reasonable verification and may suspend access where information is false, risk is unacceptable, fees are unpaid, or these Terms are breached.
What IYEC provides
IYEC operates entrepreneurship education, membership, mentorship, accelerator and cohort programs, events, courses, company and founder tools, grants and funding discovery, investor and partner connections, and a marketplace for business services. Availability, eligibility, timelines, deliverables, selection criteria, and fees may differ by listing or written order.
Unless expressly stated in a signed document, membership or participation does not guarantee investment, grants, revenue, customers, incorporation, certification, employment, admission, business success, or a particular outcome.
Applications, profiles, and introductions
You authorise IYEC to review submitted information and, where necessary for a requested opportunity, share relevant materials with reviewers, mentors, investors, institutions, partners, or service providers. Recipients make independent decisions. IYEC may verify claims but does not guarantee the identity, authority, solvency, statements, or conduct of any user or third party.
Do not upload confidential information unless the workflow requires it and you are authorised to disclose it. A platform submission does not by itself create an NDA, fiduciary duty, partnership, agency, employment, or investment relationship.
Orders, fees, taxes, and payments
- Prices and included deliverables appear on the relevant listing, checkout, quotation, invoice, or order. Applicable taxes and disclosed charges are added as shown.
- Payments may be processed by Razorpay, bank, UPI, cash, or another displayed method. Third-party processor terms also apply.
- An order is accepted only after successful payment or written confirmation. We may reject or cancel an order for error, unavailability, suspected fraud, illegality, or failed verification and will handle any refund under the Refund Policy.
- Milestone, subscription, instalment, provider-payout, coupon, grant-supported, or custom project terms stated in the order control where they conflict with general commercial details here.
Cancellations, refunds, and delivery
The Cancellation and Refund Policy, Service Delivery Policy, Event Terms, and any listing-specific terms form part of this agreement. Statutory remedies for defective, deficient, misdescribed, or undelivered services remain available.
User content and licence
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant IYEC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt for formatting or accessibility, display, transmit, and use it only to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service as reasonably expected from your settings and submission. Public testimonials or promotional stories require permission or another lawful basis. You confirm you have necessary rights and consents.
You may not upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harmful, confidential-to-others, or malicious material. See the Acceptable Use Policy and Community Guidelines.
Intellectual property
The IYEC name, logo, site design, software, databases, original content, course material, and program material are owned by or licensed to IYEC. Except for personal, non-commercial use expressly allowed by us, you may not copy, scrape, sell, reverse engineer, remove notices, or create derivative works without written permission. See the Intellectual Property Policy.
Third parties and professional services
Mentors, investors, partners, and marketplace providers may be independent third parties. Professional, legal, tax, accounting, investment, medical, or regulatory services must be supplied by appropriately qualified persons. IYEC is not responsible for independent advice or performance except to the extent the law makes us responsible or IYEC expressly contracts as principal.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and request account closure, subject to outstanding transactions and retention required by law. We may restrict or terminate access after notice where practicable for breach, risk, non-payment, illegality, safety, or discontinuation. Clauses concerning payments, ownership, licences already granted, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and records survive termination.
Disclaimers and liability
Services are provided with reasonable skill and care where law requires. Otherwise, the platform and general information are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, third-party availability, selection, funding, or business results.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IYEC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, loss of profits, opportunity, reputation, or data. For claims connected to a paid service, aggregate contractual liability will not exceed the amount you paid IYEC for that service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, wilful misconduct, or mandatory consumer remedies.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify IYEC and its officers, employees, and agents against third-party claims arising from your unlawful content, infringement, misuse, fraud, or material breach. This does not apply to the extent a claim resulted from IYEC's own breach or negligence.
Governing law and disputes
Indian law governs these Terms. First send a written complaint under our Grievance Redressal Policy and allow 30 days for good-faith resolution. Subject to non-waivable consumer rights, unresolved disputes may be referred to a sole arbitrator mutually appointed under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue will be Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, proceedings will be in English, and each party may seek urgent interim relief from a competent court. Courts with jurisdiction over Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh will have jurisdiction where arbitration does not apply.
Mandatory legal rights
These Terms are intended to operate consistently with the Indian Contract Act, 1872, Information Technology Act, 2000, Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules as in force. If you are a consumer in the United States or another country, non-waivable rights under the law that applies to you remain intact. Nothing in these Terms requires an individual consumer to give up a remedy that governing law does not permit us to waive.
Changes and general terms
We may change these Terms prospectively. Material changes will be notified reasonably. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance, but new material payment obligations require appropriate notice or consent. If a clause is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed without affecting the rest. Delay in enforcement is not a waiver. You may not assign your account without consent; IYEC may assign these Terms in a lawful restructuring or transfer.
