Roles
A listing or order will identify whether IYEC supplies a service directly or facilitates an independent provider. Independent providers are responsible for their staff, licences, professional standards, taxes, tools, and performance. Nothing creates employment, partnership, or authority to bind IYEC.
Listings, quotations, and scope
Providers must publish accurate capabilities, price basis, exclusions, turnaround, credentials, and dependencies. The accepted listing, quotation, statement of work, milestones, messages, and approved change requests form the project scope. Off-platform promises do not bind IYEC.
Customer and provider duties
- Customers must provide lawful, accurate, authorised materials and timely feedback.
- Providers must protect confidential and personal data, avoid subcontracting without required consent, meet professional and legal duties, and deliver original or properly licensed work.
- Both parties must use the project workspace for material decisions and preserve records.
- Neither party may bypass disclosed platform fees for an introduced project where an agreed non-circumvention term applies.
Payments, disputes, and remedies
IYEC may hold funds pending verification or milestone acceptance where the workflow supports it. A dispute should identify the scope, evidence, requested remedy, and undisputed amount. IYEC may facilitate settlement but is not an arbitrator unless a separate agreement says so. Refunds, re-performance, payout adjustment, or suspension may apply under the order and policies.
Regulated and professional work
A provider must not offer legal, accounting, tax, investment, medical, immigration, engineering, or other regulated services without required qualifications and disclosures. Customers should independently verify licences. Government approval and third-party outcomes are never guaranteed.
Confidentiality and intellectual property
Non-public project information must be used only for delivery and protected with reasonable care. Pre-existing materials remain with their owner. Ownership or licence for custom deliverables transfers only as the written order states and, unless otherwise agreed, after full payment.
